4 Paw Friend (“we”, “us”) provides dog walking, daycare and related pet care services in South London. This policy explains how the 4 Paw Friend mobile app and booking portal handle your information.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash — we never see it).
- Contact & service details: phone number, home address, door number, postcode, arrival notes, emergency contact name and phone.
- Your dog’s details: name, breed, age, weight, sex, neutered status, vet contact details, medical and behavioural notes, and a photo of your dog.
- Booking & payment records: services booked, dates, prices, invoices and payment status. The app does not collect or store card numbers.
- Photos from visits: our team may take photos/videos of your dog during walks and visits, which are shared with you in the app. Use on social media happens only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How we use it
We use this information solely to deliver and manage our pet care services: taking bookings, planning visits, keeping your dog safe (vet, medical and behavioural information), invoicing, and sending you service updates (for example walk photos and confirmations). We do not sell your data. We do not show adverts.
Where it lives
Data is stored securely with our backend provider (Supabase) with encryption in transit and at rest, and access restricted per client account. Photos and records are retained while you remain a client; you may request deletion at any time.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the service (secure hosting, email delivery, messaging) and never for advertising. We may disclose information where required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time — email info@4pawfriend.co.uk. You can also ask us to stop using your dog’s photos on social media at any time.
Account deletion
To delete your account and data, email info@4pawfriend.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp (07777 914440) and we will complete deletion within 30 days.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
