Who we are
More than
looking after dogs
4 Paw Friend was created because we believe dogs deserve more than simply being “looked after”. They deserve care, companionship, exercise, stimulation and genuine attention from people who love what they do.
Everything we have built sits on that one idea. We are a local, independent South London business providing trusted, caring and professional services for dogs and their owners — group walks, solo walks, outdoor daycare, home visits and pet taxi, seven days a week, with photos after every walk.
Every dog is known by name. Every owner is treated like family. Every walk is taken seriously.
Our story
How it all
started
4 Paw Friend began with a simple idea: to provide dogs with the care, exercise and companionship they deserve, while giving their owners complete peace of mind.
It started small, with a handful of dogs and a lot of early mornings. What grew it was not advertising — it was owners telling other owners that their dog came home happy, tired and well looked after.
We have always believed that every dog is an individual. Some want to run for an hour with friends; some need quiet, patient, one-to-one time. Knowing the difference, and caring enough to get it right, is the whole job. The trust between us, the dog and the owner is the thing we guard most carefully.
Who we care for
The dogs
and their owners
We work with dog owners across South London who need trusted, professional support for their dogs. People come to us for all sorts of reasons:
- Work commitments and long days away from home
- Busy lifestyles that do not always fit a dog’s routine
- Holidays and time away
- Dogs who simply need proper daily exercise
- Dogs who are happier with company than on their own
- Owners who want more enrichment and stimulation for their dog
Every dog is different. Responsible, individual care is not a nice extra — it is the standard we hold ourselves to.
What we offer
The work
you would be doing
These are the services our clients book. Most of the team spend their days across the first three.
Group dog walks
Small, carefully managed groups out in South London’s parks and green spaces.
Solo dog walks
One-to-one attention for puppies, seniors, or dogs who need a little more care.
Outdoor daycare
Out and active with a trusted group, home the same evening.
Home visits & pet care
Feeds, check-ins and company, in the comfort of the dog’s own home.
Pet taxi
Safe, comfortable transport to the vet, the groomer, or daycare.
Beach trips
Our annual days out — a long way from an ordinary shift.
